Two drag-queens and a transsexual contract to perform a drag show at a resort in Alice Springs, a resort town in the remote Australian desert. They head west from Sydney aboard their lavender bus, Priscilla. En route, it is discovered that the woman they’ve contracted with is the wife of one of the drag queens. Their bus breaks down, and is repaired by Bob, who travels on with them.
B-movie Scream Queen Dana Lewis is tired of playing the helpless victim in straight-to-video movies and dreams of becoming a serious actress. After getting her “big break” as the lead in an independent film, the Scream Queen is forced to work on location in the Mojave Desert where she gets more than she bargained for – an obsessed fan as the director and a cast and crew of local weirdos.
Though safely entombed in a crypt deep beneath the unforgiving desert, an ancient queen whose destiny was unjustly taken from her is awakened in our current day, bringing with her malevolence grown over millennia, and terrors that defy human comprehension.

Through his memories, a picture of the man’s reality is slowly revealed: a crumbling marriage, therapy, financial troubles, and a waning career.
